Abelcet is an antifungal medication used in the treatment of certain fungal infections including aspergillosis, blastomycosis, candidiasis, coccidioidomycosis, and cryptococcosis.
- Swelling, pain, or redness near where the IV needle is placed
- Headache
- Change in how much or how often you urinate
- Fever and chills
- Trouble breathing
- Fast, slow, or uneven heartbeat
- Severe nausea and vomiting
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Lightheadedness or fainting
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have kidney disease.
