What is Phentermine Hcl ?

Phentermine HCl, commonly known as phentermine, is a prescription medication primarily used for weight loss. It is typically prescribed for individuals who are obese and have failed to lose enough weight with diet and exercise alone. Phentermine acts as a central nervous system stimulant. It works by decreasing appetite and increasing the amount of energy used by the body, helping to promote weight loss. Phentermine is generally meant for short-term use, as it can be habit-forming and its effectiveness tends to decrease with prolonged use. Common side effects include increased heart rate, elevated blood pressure, insomnia, and nervousness. The use of phentermine should be closely supervised by a healthcare provider due to its potential side effects and the need for proper dosage adjustment.
