Gonal-f RFF is used to treat women who have not been able to become pregnant because of ovulation problems. Gonal-f RFF contains follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) that helps healthy ovaries to produce eggs.

  • Swelling of the breasts or breast soreness in both females and males
  • Acne, dandruff, oily skin
  • Nausea.
  • Pain, itching, burning, swelling, or a lump under your skin where the shot was given
  • Pain or swelling where the shot is given.
  • Yellowing of your skin or the whites of your eyes.
  • Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing

  • Your doctor will do lab tests at regular visits to check on the effects of this medicine. Keep all appointments. Semen testing and ultrasound examinations will also be needed to check for unwanted effects.
  • Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.
