What is Qtern ?
Qtern is a combination medication consisting of dapagliflozin and saxagliptin, used to manage blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes. This oral medication helps improve glycemic control by increasing insulin production and reducing sugar reabsorption in the kidneys. Qtern is typically prescribed when treatment with each individual component alone, along with diet and exercise, does not provide adequate blood sugar control.
