What is Niacin Er ?
Niacin ER (extended-release) is a form of vitamin B3 used primarily to treat niacin deficiency and to help lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. It works by reducing the production of certain fatty acids and boosting levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL), or "good" cholesterol. Extended-release formulations of niacin release the active ingredient gradually, minimizing side effects such as flushing while maintaining its efficacy in lipid management.
