What is Adacel ?
Adacel is a vaccine used to prevent tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough) in people ages 10 through 64. It works by stimulating the immune system to produce antibodies that protect against these diseases. Administered via intramuscular injection, Adacel is recommended as both a preventive measure for individuals not previously immunized and as a booster for ongoing protection.
