What is Tadalafil (Pah) ?
Tadalafil (PAH) is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor used primarily in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) to improve exercise capacity and delay clinical worsening. This medication works by relaxing blood vessels in the lungs, thereby increasing blood flow and reducing the workload on the heart.
- Headache
- Warmth or redness in your face, neck, arms, or upper chest
- Stuffy or runny nose
- Upset stomach, nausea
- Back or muscle pain
- Sudden loss of vision
- Painful erection or an erection that lasts longer than 4 hours with or without pain
- Lightheadedness, fainting
- Chest pain, trouble breathing
- Blistering, peeling, or red skin rash
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Sudden decrease in hearing or hearing loss, ringing in the ears, dizziness
- Sudden decrease in hearing or hearing loss, ringing in the ears, dizziness
- Sudden loss of vision

- Tell any doctor who treats you that you are using tadalafil.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have kidney disease, liver disease, lung or breathing problems, diabetes, high cholesterol, cancer (including leukemia, multiple myeloma), sickle cell anemia, bleeding problems, stomach ulcer, problems with your penis, or eye problems. Tell your doctor if you have angina or chest pain during sex, heart disease, heart rhythm problems, high or low blood pressure, or a history of heart attack or stroke. Also tell your doctor if you smoke or drink alcohol.
