What is Amzeeq ?
Amzeeq (minocycline) is a topical foam formulation approved for the treatment of moderate to severe acne vulgaris in patients 9 years of age and older. It represents the first topical form of minocycline, an antibiotic, offering a novel approach to managing acne by reducing inflammation and bacterial growth without the systemic exposure typically associated with oral minocycline. This product is applied once daily and is proven effective in reducing acne lesions with a safety profile similar to other topical treatments.
