What is Capsaicin ?

Capsaicin is an active component of chili peppers, widely used in medical products as a topical analgesic. It functions by binding to the TRPV1 receptor, which results in a desensitization to pain, making it effective in treating minor aches and pains of the muscles and joints. Capsaicin is available in various over-the-counter creams, gels, and patches for its pain-relieving properties.
