What is Nutrilipid ?
Nutrilipid® is a sterile, lipid injectable emulsion that provides essential fatty acids and calories for patients requiring parenteral nutrition. It is typically used when oral or enteral nutrition is not possible, insufficient, or contraindicated. This emulsion is administered intravenously, typically as part of a larger personalized nutrition regimen.

- Blue lips, fingernails, or skin
- Confusion, uneven heartbeat, muscle cramps or pain, numbness, tingling, pain, or weakness in the hands or feet, unusual tiredness or weakness
- Unusual bleeding or bruising
- Fever, chills, cough, sore throat, body aches
- Chest pain, trouble breathing, coughing up blood, cold sweat, bluish-colored skin
- Rapid weight gain, swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have kidney disease, liver disease, blood clotting problems, heart failure, diabetes, or obesity.
