What is Tuxarin Er ?
Tuxarin ER is a combination medication commonly prescribed to relieve symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, or other respiratory illnesses. It combines the expectorant guaifenesin, which helps loosen mucus, making it easier to cough out, with the cough suppressant codeine, which acts on the brain to decrease the urge to cough. This extended-release formula allows for sustained symptom relief over a longer period of time.
