What is Xylocaine/Epinephrine ?
Xylocaine (lidocaine) with epinephrine is a combination medication used as a local anesthetic and vasoconstrictor. Lidocaine works by blocking nerve signals in the body to provide pain relief, while epinephrine reduces blood flow to the site of injection, prolonging the anesthetic effect and minimizing bleeding during procedures. This formulation is commonly used in dental procedures, minor surgeries, and other medical applications where localized anesthesia is required.
