What is Biopatch?
Biopatch is a sterile, hydrophilic foam dressing impregnated with chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG), designed to inhibit bacterial growth on the skin surface. It is primarily used to reduce the incidence of catheter-related bloodstream infections (CRBSIs) by providing continuous antimicrobial protection at the catheter insertion site.
