What is Doans Extra Strength?
Percogesic Backache Relief is an over-the-counter medication designed to alleviate mild to moderate back pain. It combines magnesium salicylate, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), with additional ingredients to help reduce inflammation and relieve discomfort. This product is intended for short-term use and should be taken as directed on the packaging or by a healthcare professional.Side Effects

Warnings
- Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- This medicine may cause unusual bleeding in certain people. Make sure your doctor knows if you have bleeding problems, a vitamin K deficiency, stomach ulcers, or gastritis. Tell your doctor if you have unusual bleeding, such as nosebleeds, bleeding gums, dark urine, or blood in your stool.
- Deep or fast breathing with dizziness, numbness of feet, hands and around the mouth.
- Tell any doctor or dentist who treats you that you are using this medicine. You may need to stop using this medicine several days before you have surgery or medical tests.
