What is Budesonide Er ?
Budesonide ER (extended-release) is an oral corticosteroid medication used primarily to treat Crohn's disease, an inflammatory bowel disease that affects the gastrointestinal tract. It works by releasing the medication slowly in the body to reduce inflammation, providing symptomatic relief from abdominal pain and diarrhea associated with Crohn's disease. Budesonihde ER is designed for once-daily dosing to maintain consistent therapeutic levels throughout the day.

- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have liver disease (including cirrhosis), diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, stomach ulcers, any type of infection (including tuberculosis), allergies, or a family history of cataracts, diabetes, or glaucoma.

- Do not stop using this medicine suddenly. Your doctor will need to slowly decrease your dose before you stop it completely.
