¿Qué es Rhopressa?
Rhopressa (solución oftálmica de netarsudil) es un colirio recetado utilizado para reducir la presión intraocular elevada en pacientes con glaucoma de ángulo abierto o hipertensión ocular. Funciona inhibiendo la enzima Rho quinasa, lo que conduce a un aumento del flujo acuoso y, posteriormente, reduce la presión intraocular. Rhopressa se administra típicamente una vez al día en el ojo o los ojos afectados.Side Effects
- Blurred vision or other changes in vision, severe eye irritation or inflammation
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
Warnings
- Ophthalmic routeIf you hurt your eye, develop an eye infection, or need to have eye surgery, talk with your doctor right away. You may need to change your medicine or stop using it.
- Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have eye disease or vision problems.
- Your doctor will check your progress and the effects of this medicine at regular visits. Keep all appointments.
