Tiazac comes in capsule form and is used to treat hypertension. Tiazac is also used to treat chronic stable angina. Tiazac relaxes blood vessels and reduces the workload of the heart. Tiazac may cause impaired thinking or reactions. Do not stop using Tiazac suddenly as it may make your condition worse. Common Tiazac side effects may include dizziness, weakness, headache, nausea or rash.
- Headache
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Lightheadedness, dizziness, fainting
- Rapid weight gain, swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet
- Blistering, peeling, red skin rash
- Slow, fast, pounding, or uneven heartbeat
- Worsening chest pain, trouble breathing
- Dark urine or pale stools, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach pain, yellow skin or eyes
- Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.
- Your doctor will do lab tests at regular visits to check on the effects of this medicine. Keep all appointments.
- Do not stop using this medicine suddenly without asking your doctor, or you could develop life-threatening heart problems.
- This medicine may make you dizzy, drowsy, or lightheaded. Stand or sit up slowly if you feel lightheaded or dizzy. Do not drive or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how this medicine affects you.
