El Diltiazem HCl ER (liberación extendida) es un bloqueador de los canales de calcio utilizado principalmente para tratar la hipertensión (presión arterial alta) y la angina de pecho (dolor en el pecho). Funciona relajando los músculos de su corazón y vasos sanguíneos, mejorando la función del corazón y el flujo sanguíneo. La forma de liberación extendida permite una liberación y absorción constantes y graduales del medicamento, facilitando un mejor control de los síntomas con menos dosis.Side Effects
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Lightheadedness, dizziness, fainting
- Rapid weight gain, swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet
Warnings
- Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.
- Your doctor will do lab tests at regular visits to check on the effects of this medicine. Keep all appointments.
- Do not stop using this medicine suddenly without asking your doctor, or you could develop life-threatening heart problems.
- This medicine may make you dizzy, drowsy, or lightheaded. Stand or sit up slowly if you feel lightheaded or dizzy. Do not drive or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how this medicine affects you.
