Buying peptides online

The best place to buy peptides online in the USA, legally

Search "buy peptides online" and most of what you find are research-chemical websites. Their vials are labeled "research use only" or "not for human consumption." They are not made under pharmacy standards, can be underdosed, contaminated or mislabeled, and sit outside the FDA's 2026 peptide policy.

On October 28, 2026 the FDA and HHS opened a legal route for six peptides. The FDA said it will not take enforcement action against licensed 503A compounding pharmacies and physicians that prepare BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, MOTS-c, Semax or Epitalon for an individual patient with a prescription, as long as they meet requirements for ingredient quality, manufacturing, labeling and safety reporting.

So the legitimate way to buy peptides online is a prescription from a licensed provider, filled by a licensed pharmacy. That is what Rx.com is building: a short online intake, a review by a U.S.-licensed provider, and your peptide compounded for you and shipped to your door. These peptides are not FDA approved, and your provider will tell you honestly whether one fits your goals.

What changed in October 2026

On October 28, 2026 the FDA and HHS published an interim policy for six peptides: BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, MOTS-c, Semax and Epitalon. The FDA said it will not take enforcement action against licensed 503A compounding pharmacies and physicians that prepare them for individual patients with a prescription, as long as they meet requirements for ingredient quality, manufacturing, labeling and safety reporting.

This is not FDA approval. The peptides have not been through the FDA's review for safety or effectiveness, the policy is temporary and can change, and some states may set their own rules. Rx.com is setting up access through U.S.-licensed providers and a licensed pharmacy and will open online visits when it is ready.

Peptides explained

The peptide guide: what each one is

BPC-157

BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a 15-amino-acid peptide based on a protective protein in stomach juice. Lab and animal studies suggest it may support blood-vessel growth and repair in tendons, ligaments, muscle and the gut lining. Human trials are small and short.

TB-500

TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4, a protein the body uses to move cells during repair. It has been studied in animals for wound, muscle and tendon healing. There are no published human safety studies, and it is banned in competitive sport.

KPV

KPV (lysine-proline-valine) is the tail end of alpha-MSH, a hormone involved in calming inflammation. It is studied in lab and animal models of inflammatory bowel conditions, inflamed skin and wound healing. Human safety data is lacking.

MOTS-c

MOTS-c is a 16-amino-acid peptide encoded in mitochondrial DNA. It activates AMPK, the cell's energy sensor, and is studied for metabolism, insulin sensitivity, obesity and bone health. Benefits seen in animals are unproven in people.

Semax

Semax is a synthetic peptide based on a fragment of ACTH, developed in Russia, where versions are used for stroke recovery and cognitive conditions. In the U.S. it is discussed for focus, migraine and chronic pain. It is not an approved U.S. drug.

Epitalon

Epitalon (epithalon) is a four-amino-acid peptide based on a pineal-gland extract. Research, mostly from Russia, looks at sleep, melatonin rhythm, telomeres and aging. Lifespan claims are unproven.

2

A U.S.-licensed provider reviews your answers and prescribes only if a peptide is right for you.

How much do prescription peptides cost?

Rx.com will post each peptide's price at launch, before you pay anything, and you will be billed only if a provider prescribes it. Prescription compounded peptides usually cost more than research-chemical vials because the price covers a licensed provider, a licensed pharmacy that compounds to pharmacy standards, and shipping.

Insurance generally does not cover compounded peptides because they are not FDA approved. Join the waitlist and we will email you prices and the day ordering opens.

Buying peptides online: FAQs

Where can you get peptides legally?
From a licensed provider who writes a prescription, filled by a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy. For BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, MOTS-c, Semax and Epitalon that is the route the FDA's October 2026 interim policy covers. Rx.com is launching it soon.
How do I order peptides online?
At launch: pick a peptide on this page, complete a short online health intake, and a U.S.-licensed provider reviews it. If it is right for you, a licensed U.S. pharmacy compounds your prescription and ships it to your door. Ordering is not open yet; join the waitlist.
What is the safest place to buy peptides?
A licensed U.S. pharmacy filling a prescription, not a website selling "research use only" vials. Pharmacy compounding standards cover ingredient quality and labeling; research peptides have no such checks. The peptides themselves are still not FDA approved.
Can you buy peptides online legally?
Yes, for six peptides, with a prescription. Since October 28, 2026 the FDA has said it will not act against licensed 503A pharmacies and physicians that compound BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, MOTS-c, Semax or Epitalon for individual patients with a prescription. Buying "research use only" peptides to use yourself is outside that policy.
Where is the best place to buy peptides online in the USA?
A licensed provider and a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy, not a research-chemical website. Rx.com is launching exactly that: an online visit with a U.S.-licensed provider and peptides compounded by a licensed 503A pharmacy. Join the waitlist on this page.
Which peptides can be prescribed and compounded now?
BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, MOTS-c, Semax and Epitalon, under the FDA's October 2026 interim policy. Other peptides such as emideltide, injectable GHK-Cu, ipamorelin and CJC-1295 are not covered.
Are these peptides FDA approved?
No. The policy is enforcement discretion, not approval. The peptides have not been through the FDA's review for safety or effectiveness, the policy is temporary, and it can change.
Do I need a prescription to buy peptides?
Yes. The FDA policy only covers peptides compounded for an individual patient under a prescription from a licensed provider.
When can I order peptides from Rx.com?
Soon. Ordering is not open yet. Join the waitlist and we will email you the prices and launch day.
How much do peptides cost?
Rx.com will post prices at launch, before you pay anything. You are billed only if a provider prescribes treatment. Insurance generally does not cover compounded peptides.
Are research peptides safe?
Peptides sold as "research use only" are not made or tested for people and can be mislabeled or contaminated. A prescription product from a licensed pharmacy is held to pharmacy compounding standards, though the peptides themselves are not FDA approved.
Is it legal in my state?
The federal policy does not bind state pharmacy boards, and some states may restrict compounded peptides. At launch the intake will only be offered where treatment can be prescribed and shipped.

Important safety information

BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, MOTS-c, Semax and Epitalon are not FDA approved. Their safety and effectiveness have not been established in large human trials, and the FDA's reviewers noted limited human safety data. Side effects and long-term risks are not fully known.

Do not use peptides if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive, or if you have or have had cancer, unless your provider says otherwise. Tell your provider about every medication and supplement you take. TB-500 is prohibited in competitive sport. Never use products labeled "research use only" or "not for human consumption."
