Important safety information

Boxed warning: semaglutide and tirzepatide caused thyroid C-cell tumors in rodent studies. It is not known whether they cause thyroid tumors, including medullary thyroid carcinoma, in people. Do not use them if you or any of your family have had medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2.

Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, stomach pain and decreased appetite, most often while your dose is being increased. Serious risks include pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, low blood sugar (especially with insulin or sulfonylureas), kidney injury from dehydration, and severe allergic reactions. Do not use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning pregnancy, or under 18. Tell your provider about every medication and condition during your visit. This is not a complete list of risks.

Frequently asked questions

What is a GLP-1 medication?
GLP-1 stands for glucagon-like peptide-1, a hormone your gut releases after you eat. GLP-1 medications mimic that hormone: they slow digestion, reduce appetite and help regulate blood sugar. Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist; tirzepatide adds a second hormone pathway (GIP) on top of GLP-1.
Semaglutide or tirzepatide: which should I choose?
Both are taken once a week and both work on appetite and fullness. Semaglutide is the lower-cost option and the most widely used GLP-1. Tirzepatide acts on two hormone receptors and produced larger average weight loss in its clinical trials, at a higher price. If you are unsure, start the visit for either one; your provider reviews your history and can recommend the better fit before anything ships.
What does the price include?
Everything: the online provider visit and follow-ups, your medication at whatever dose your provider prescribes, syringes and alcohol pads, a dosing guide, cold-packed shipping and unlimited messaging with your care team. There are no visit fees, membership fees, dose upcharges or shipping charges.
Does the price change as my dose goes up?
No. We never charge by strength. Your provider steps your dose up over time and your plan price stays exactly the same. Only the plan length you choose changes the price.
Do I need insurance?
No. This is a cash-pay program and we do not bill insurance. Pay with a debit or credit card; many HSA and FSA cards are accepted.
Who qualifies?
Adults 18 and over with a BMI of 30 or higher, or 27 or higher with a weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea or type 2 diabetes. A licensed provider makes the final decision after reviewing your online visit. GLP-1 medications are not for people who are pregnant or breastfeeding, who have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2, or who have had pancreatitis.
How fast does it work?
Many people notice a smaller appetite within the first couple of weeks. Weight loss builds gradually as your provider steps up your dose over the first few months. In clinical trials of semaglutide and tirzepatide, most weight loss happened over the first year. Results vary from person to person.
Where is this available?
We currently serve 49 states (all except Alaska). Some states require a short video visit, which is handled during intake.
How do renewals and cancellation work?
Plans renew automatically at the end of each term at the same price until you cancel. You are contacted before each renewal charge and each shipment, and you can pause or cancel from your account at any time with no fees. Medication cannot be returned once shipped, so medication sales are final.
