What is Flurbiprofen Sodium?
Flurbiprofen Sodium is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used primarily to treat pain, inflammation, and fever associated with various conditions, including arthritis. It works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, chemicals responsible for inflammation, pain, and fever. Flurbiprofen Sodium is often administered as eye drops to reduce inflammation after eye surgery and as an oral medication for systemic effects.Side Effects

- Blurred vision, light sensitivity, tearing
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
Warnings
- Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have bleeding problems. Tell your doctor if you have had an allergic reaction to aspirin or other NSAID pain and arthritis medicines (such as diclofenac, ibuprofen, naproxen, Advil®, Aleve®, Celebrex®, Voltaren®).
