What is Clinolipid ?

Clinolipid is an intravenous lipid emulsion used as a source of calories and essential fatty acids for adult patients who require parenteral nutrition when oral or enteral nutrition is not possible, insufficient, or contraindicated. It contains a mixture of olive oil and soybean oil, which provides a balanced blend of omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids, formulated to minimize the potential negative effects of other lipid emulsions. Clinolipid is designed to support patients with improved lipid tolerance and reduced hepatic complications.
