What is Syprine?
Trientine Hydrochloride is a metal-chelating pharmaceutical agent used primarily for the treatment of Wilson's disease, a genetic disorder that leads to excessive copper accumulation in the body. By binding to copper, Trientine helps to facilitate its excretion through the urine, thereby reducing copper toxicity and preventing associated hepatic and neurological damage.
