Syndros is an orally administered liquid formulation of the synthetic cannabinoid dronabinol, approved by the FDA to treat anorexia associated with weight loss in AIDS patients and nausea and vomiting associated with cancer chemotherapy in patients who have failed to respond adequately to conventional treatments. It acts on the body's endocannabinoid system to mimic the effects of natural cannabinoids, helping to regulate appetite and nausea.
