What is Folotyn ?
Folotyn (pralatrexate) is a chemotherapeutic agent used in the treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL). As a folate analogue metabolic inhibitor, it interferes with DNA and RNA synthesis, thereby inhibiting the growth of cancerous cells. - Tiredness
- Mild nausea, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting
- Swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet, rapid weight gain
- Dark urine or pale stools, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach pain, yellow skin or eyes
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Blistering, peeling, red skin rash
- Change in how much or how often you urinate
- Sores or white patches on your lips, mouth, or throat
- Unusual bleeding, bruising, or weakness
- Trouble swallowing or eating
- Fever, chills, cough, sore throat, and body aches
