What is Diclona?
Diclona, commonly known as Diclofenac, is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to alleviate pain and inflammation associated with various conditions, including arthritis, migraines, and postoperative recovery. It works by inhibitably inhibiting the enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) involved in prostaglandin synthesis, which are key contributors to inflammation and pain.Side Effects

Warnings
- May increase the risk of serious cardiovascular thrombotic events, heart attack, and stroke, which can be fatal.
- Should not be used right before or after heart bypass surgery (CABG).
- May increase the risk of serious gastrointestinal adverse events including bleeding, ulceration, and perforation of the stomach or intestines, which can be fatal.
- Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney disease.
- Avoid concurrent use with alcohol as it may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding.
