Heplisav-B es una vacuna recombinante contra la hepatitis B para la inmunización activa contra la infección por el virus de la hepatitis B en adultos de 18 años de edad o más. La vacuna utiliza un nuevo adyuvante, citosina fosfoguanina (CpG) 1018, para mejorar la respuesta inmune, permitiendo protección con menos dosis en comparación con otras vacunas contra la hepatitis B. Se administra en dos dosis durante un período de un mes.Side Effects
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing

- Tell any doctor or dentist who treats you that you are using this medicine. This medicine may affect certain medical test results.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have an active infection (including hepatitis B) or a weak immune system.
