¿Qué es Hypertet?
Hypertet es una solución estéril que contiene globulina inmune contra el tétanos, utilizada para la inmunización pasiva como profilaxis post-exposición contra la infección por tétanos. Está indicado para individuos que sufren lesiones propensas al tétanos, especialmente si no están vacunados o tienen un historial de vacunación incompleto. Hypertet se administra por vía intramuscular y funciona proporcionando protección inmediata y a corto plazo al neutralizar las toxinas producidas por Clostridium tetani.Side Effects
- Loss of appetite
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in face or hands, swelling or tingling in the mouth or throat, tightness in chest, trouble breathing
- Cloudy or foamy urine, decrease in how much or how often you urinate
Warnings
- Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have any unusual bleeding or bruising.
- Bloated feeling, swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet
