What is Acyclovir Sodium ?
Acyclovir Sodium is an antiviral medication used primarily for the treatment of infections caused by herpes viruses, including genital herpes, cold sores, shingles, and chickenpox in certain patients. It works by inhibiting the viral DNA synthesis, thereby reducing the virus's ability to replicate and spread.
