What is Ketotifen Fumarate ?
Ketotifen fumarate is a mast cell stabilizer and antihistamine, commonly used to treat allergic conditions such as conjunctivitis or asthma. By inhibiting the release of mediators from cells involved in hypersensitivity reactions, Ketotifen helps prevent and control allergic symptoms. It is often administered as eye drops for ocular use or as an oral medication for systemic treatment.

- You should not use leftover medicine to treat other eye conditions or general discomfort from contact lenses.
- Do not wear your contact lens(es) if your eye(s) is red. You should not use this medicine to treat irritation of the eyes caused by contact lenses.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before using this medicine.
- If you wear contact lenses, do not put them in right after using ketotifen. Wait at least 10 minutes before putting the lenses in your eyes.
