What is Albendazole ?

Albendazole is an anthelmintic (anti-worm) medication primarily used to treat a variety of parasitic worm infestations, including hookworms, pinworms, tapeworms, and roundworms. It works by inhibiting the worms' ability to absorb glucose, thereby depleting their energy stores and causing their eventual death. Albendazole is commonly administered orally and is available in both tablet and liquid form.
