What is Alburx?
Alburx (albumin) is a sterile, injectable solution for intravenous administration, primarily derived from human plasma. It is used to restore and maintain blood volume and is often employed in the treatment of hypovolemitis, burns, and hypoalbuminemia. Its mechanism relies on its ability to increase plasma oncotic pressure, promoting fluid retention in the blood vessels.Side Effects

- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Pinpoint red or purple spots under the skin
Warnings
- Tell your doctor if you have a history of heart failure, kidney disease, or anemia.
- This medicine is made from donated human blood. Some human blood products have transmitted certain viruses to people who have received them. The risk is very low, but talk with your doctor if you have concerns.
