What is Alburx ?

Alburx (albumin) is a sterile, injectable solution for intravenous administration, primarily derived from human plasma. It is used to restore and maintain blood volume and is often employed in the treatment of hypovolemitis, burns, and hypoalbuminemia. Its mechanism relies on its ability to increase plasma oncotic pressure, promoting fluid retention in the blood vessels.
