Allegra Allergy (fexofenadine hydrochloride) is an over-the-counter antihistamine used for the treatment of seasonal allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, and itching of the nose or throat. This medication works by blocking histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms, and is typically known for its non-drowsy effect compared to other antihistamines. - This medicine might contain phenylalanine. This is only a concern if you have a disorder called phenylketonuria (a problem with amino acids). Talk to your doctor before using this medicine.
