What is Lantus Solostar ?
Lantus Solostar is a brand of insulin glargine, a long-acting insulin used to help manage blood sugar levels in individuals with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Administered via the Solostar pen, a pre-filled, disposable insulin pen, it effectively maintains a stable, baseline level of insulin, usually with once-daily dosing. Lantus Solostar works by mimicking the action of natural, basal insulin, helping to control glucose levels throughout the day and night.
