What is Binosto ?
Binosto (alendronate sodium) is an effervescent tablet formulation prescribed for the treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and to increase bone mass in men. It belongs to a class of medications known as bisphosphonates, which work by preventing bone breakdown and increasing bone density. Binosto is specifically designed to be dissolved in water, creating a buffered solution that may reduce the risk of gastrointestinal side effects associated with traditional bisphosphonate tablets.
