What is Ganirelix Acetate?
Ganirelix Acetate is a synthetic decapeptide with potent gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist properties, commonly used to prevent premature ovulation during assisted reproductive technologies (ART) such as in vitro fertilization (IVF). By competitively blocking the GnRH receptors in the pituitary gland, it effectively suppresses the release of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), thus providing greater control over the timing of ovulation.Side Effects
