What is Gentian Violet?
Gentian Violet, also known as crystal violet, is a synthetic, water-soluble dye used primarily for its antifungal and antibacterial properties. It is commonly applied topically to treat fungal infections such as thrush and ringworm, as well as minor cuts and scrapes to prevent infection.
