What is Ilevro ?

Ilevro (nepafenac ophthalmic suspension) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat pain and inflammation associated with cataract surgery. It works by inhibiting the production of certain substances in the body that cause inflammation and pain. Ilevro is administered as an eye drop and is typically used once daily starting one day before cataract surgery, continuing on the day of surgery, and through the initial postoperative period.
