¿Qué es Jornay Pm?
Jornay PM es un medicamento de metilfenidato de liberación prolongada aprobado para el tratamiento del Trastorno por Déficit de Atención con Hiperactividad (TDAH) en pacientes de 6 años en adelante. Está diseñado para ser administrado en la noche para mejorar la vigilia y disminuir los síntomas durante el día siguiente, utilizando un sistema de liberación único que retrasa la liberación inicial del medicamento hasta por 10 horas.Side Effects
- Seizures
- Numbness or weakness on one side of your body, sudden or severe headache, problems with vision, speech, or walking
- Painful erection or an erection that lasts longer than 4 hours
Warnings
- Seizures
- Seeing, hearing, or feeling things that are not there
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have heart or blood vessel disease, heart rhythm problems, high blood pressure, circulation problems, phenylketonuria, thyroid problems, asthma, stomach or bowel problems (including blockage, narrowing), Tourette syndrome, or a history of seizures, heart attack, or stroke. Tell your doctor if you or anyone in your family has a history of depression, suicide, bipolar disorder, mental health problems, or drug or alcohol abuse.
- This medicine may cause the following problems:Serious heart or blood vessel problems, including heart attack and stroke (especially in people who already have heart problems)High blood pressureProlonged and painful erectionPeripheral vasculopathy (a blood circulation problem), including Raynaud's phenomenonSlow growth and weight loss in childrenOnset or worsening of motor or verbal tics (including Tourette syndrome)Eye or vision problems, including angle closure glaucoma and intraocular pressure
- This medicine can be habit-forming. Do not use more than your prescribed dose. Call your doctor if you think your medicine is not working.
