Warnings
- Do not use if you are pregnant.
- Smoking increases the risk of serious cardiovascular side effects from birth control pill use, especially in women over 35.
- This medication should not be used by women who have certain medical conditions, including blood clots, certain cancers, uncontrolled high blood pressure, migraines with aura, and liver disease.
- Seek immediate medical help if you experience symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, such as rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, or trouble breathing.
- Use with caution in women with diabetes, high cholesterol, or a history of depression.
