What is Liquid E-Z-Paque?
Liquid E-Z-Paque is an orally administered barium sulfate suspension used as a radiopaque contrast agent for gastrointestinal radiography. This formulation enhances the visibility of the gastrointestinal tract to help diagnose structural abnormalities or motility disorders. Warnings
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have asthma, cancer, heart disease, trouble swallowing, an allergy to other contrast agents, or a history of fructose intolerance (genetic disease). Tell your doctor about any stomach or bowel problems, including diverticulitis, fistula, stenosis, or ulcer.
