Lubiprostone es un activador del canal de cloruro utilizado principalmente para tratar el estreñimiento crónico idiopático y el síndrome del intestino irritable con estreñimiento en adultos. Al aumentar la secreción de cloruro y agua en los intestinos, mejora la motilidad intestinal y facilita el paso más fácil de las heces. - Trouble breathing
- Severe diarrhea, stomach pain or swelling
Warnings
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have liver disease, low blood pressure, severe diarrhea, or a sudden change in bowel movements.
- This medicine may make you feel dizzy or lightheaded. Stand or sit up slowly if you are dizzy. This is more likely to happen when you begin to use the medicine or if you become dehydrated.
- Your doctor will check your progress and the effects of this medicine at regular visits. Keep all appointments.
- Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.
