Lumigan is a medication used to treat open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. This drug decreases the pressure in the eye by regulating the flow of eye fluid. Lumigan belongs to a class of drugs called prostaglandin analogs. Lumigan is a brand version of the drug bimatoprost. This drug has been available for years. In the treatment of open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension, Lumigan use is common.
- Dry eyes, mild eye discomfort, or feeling that something is in your eye
- Darkening of the skin
- Sensitivity to bright light
- Headache
- Redness, pain, itching, or swelling of the eye or eyelid
- Discharge from the eye
- Changes in vision
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.

- Wipe off any excess medicine that comes into contact with other skin areas. The medicine may cause hair growth in those other areas.
