Lopressor HCT is a beta blocker that is used in the treatment of high blood pressure. It works by keeping certain natural chemicals such as epinephrine from acting on the heart and blood vessels.

  • Shaking, trembling, hunger
  • Sudden and severe stomach pain, nausea, or vomiting
  • Swelling in your hands, feet, ankles, or legs, tiredness
  • Lightheadedness, dizziness, fainting
  • Sores, reddish patch or irritated area, shiny bump, pink growth, or white, yellow or waxy scar-like area on the skin
  • Confusion, weakness, and muscle twitching
  • Slow, fast, pounding, or uneven heartbeat
