Miclara DM is an over-the-counter medication commonly used to relieve symptoms of cough, congestion, and throat irritation associated with colds and allergies. It contains a combination of dextromethorphan, which acts as a cough suppressant, and guaifenesin, which serves as an expectorant to help loosen mucus. This combination helps reduce cough frequency and facilitates the clearing of mucus from the airways.

• This medicine can make you drowsy or restless. Avoid taking at bedtime if it makes you restless. Avoid driving, using machines, or doing anything else that could be dangerous if you are not alert.
