What is Nesacaine ?
Nesacaine, chemically known as chloroprocaine, is a fast-acting local anesthetic used primarily for regional anesthesia. It blocks nerve impulses by reducing sodium influx, effectively decreasing nerve membrane permeability to sodium ions. This action helps in numbing the surgical or procedural area briefly, making it suitable for procedures that require a quick onset and short duration of anesthesia.
