What is Accuretic ?

Accuretic is an oral medication that combines two active ingredients, quinapril hydrochloride and hydrochlorothiazide, used primarily for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). Quinapril is an ACE inhibitor that works by relaxing blood vessels, while hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic (water pill) that helps prevent your body from absorbing too much salt, which can cause fluid retention. This combination helps lower blood pressure and reduces the risk of strokes and heart attacks.
