What is Rukobia?
Rukobia (fostemsavir) is an antiretroviral medication used to treat HIV-1 infection in adults with limited treatment options due to resistance, intolerance, or safety considerations with other therapies. It functions as an attachment inhibitor, blocking the virus from binding to host cells, thereby preventing its entry and subsequent replication. Rukobia is usually administered in combination with other antiretroviral medications.Side Effects

- Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.
- Your immune system may get stronger when you start taking HIV medicines. This could cause a hidden infection in your body to become active. Tell your doctor right away if you notice any changes in your health.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, or if you have kidney disease, liver disease (including hepatitis B or C infection), heart disease, or a history of heart rhythm problems (including QT prolongation).
- Do not breastfeed. You can spread HIV or AIDS to your baby through your breast milk.
