What is Rukobia ?
Rukobia (fostemsavir) is an antiretroviral medication used to treat HIV-1 infection in adults with limited treatment options due to resistance, intolerance, or safety considerations with other therapies. It functions as an attachment inhibitor, blocking the virus from binding to host cells, thereby preventing its entry and subsequent replication. Rukobia is usually administered in combination with other antiretroviral medications.
