¿Qué es Siklos?
Siklos (hidroxiurea) es un medicamento que se utiliza principalmente para tratar la anemia de células falciformes reduciendo la frecuencia de crisis dolorosas y la necesidad de transfusiones de sangre. Funciona ayudando a aumentar los niveles de hemoglobina fetal (HbF) en los glóbulos rojos, lo que puede prevenir que las células se deformen en forma de hoz y mejorar el flujo sanguíneo. - Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Unusual bleeding, bruising, or weakness
- Trouble breathing, tiredness, uneven heartbeat, yellow skin or eyes
