Safety and important warnings

Tadalafil has no FDA boxed warning, but there are important safety points. It should never be taken with any nitrate medication (such as nitroglycerin or isosorbide) or with the guanylate cyclase stimulator riociguat (Adempas), because the combination can cause a severe and potentially fatal drop in blood pressure.
